Tesla Unveiled the major redesign of the Model S

Tesla is maintaining its continuity in the news by shaking up the electric vehicle market. Another recent news we got about Tesla is that the company has announced its long-rumored updated version of the Model S sedan since it was first revealed in 2012. As part of its fourth-quarter earnings report, Tesla declared that the refreshed Model S will be on sale soon.

Tesla Model S received a refreshed exterior, clear interior, and more powerful powertrain option. If we talk about the exterior then it got a new front bumper, a tweaked rear diffuser, and all-new 19 and 21-inch wheel designs. The overall trim of the exterior is covered with black so that it will look similar to the Model y. Tesla keeps the color palette to remain the same. 

Generally, we have seen more changes in the exterior part but this time Tesla has covered the major takes from the interior. The company has removed the table-style layout available in the current Model S and Model X. They replaced it with a 17.0-inch portrait display similar to Model 3 and Model Y. The refreshed model S retains its 12.3-inch digital instrumental cluster.

The resolution has also polished to 2200 x 1300 and got brighter colors. The center screen will be used as a gaming computer which has 10 teraflops of processing power. Model S got a big change with the steering wheel, it doesn’t look like a wheel anymore, it is looking like a  yoke that came from out of star wars. The steering will be managed by touch buttons on the wheels.

The stalks, true signals, lights, and other traditional features have been removed from it. The door cards also got modified. Model S will be available with three-zone climate control, heated seats, glass roof as standard, 22-speaker audio system, and more. Model S is offering you three distinct versions.

One starts at $79,990 for a Long Range version, it has a dual motor with all-wheel drive, also, it has got 412 miles of range. Another starts at $119,990 for powerful plaid with a third motor, it has got 390 miles of range with 1,020 hp sets a 2.0 seconds 0-60 time. The last version starts at $139,990, it is a plaid plus version and got 520 miles range.

Tesla also makes the availability of a Full self-driving suite of driver-assist systems, that will cost you around $10,000. The bookings of the updated Model S is open now, the deliveries of Long-Range and Plaid models will start in March, for Plaid Plus, there is a time until late 2021. Tesla claimed that the Model S is the most aerodynamic production car in the world.
