Jeep is known for producing tough, off-road vehicles that can handle any terrain. Despite being criticized for their low fuel economy, lack of comfort, and subpar interior finishes, Jeeps have a dedicated fan base. The Wrangler, in particular, is an iconic workhorse that is loved by its owners. Jeep has also introduced 4Xe plug-in hybrid versions of the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee, offering up to 21 and 25 miles of all-electric driving, respectively. The Gladiator pickup truck further expands the Wrangler's appeal. The Grand Cherokee now comes in both two-row and three-row versions, with the latter dubbed the "L." The new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models are large, luxurious SUVs that aim to compete with the likes of the Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, Chevrolet Tahoe, and Cadillac Escalade. However, the smaller Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade models have not fared well in our tests. Reliability is not a strong suit for most Jeep models.
