Lucid Motors, a California-based electric vehicle manufacturer, is one of the newest players in the industry. The company was initially focused on developing electric vehicle technology, including battery systems for Formula E race cars. However, it has since transitioned to producing luxury electric vehicles. The first model from Lucid is the Air sedan, which is available in multiple trims. The most powerful version, the Grand Touring, has a range of 520 miles and can produce up to 1,111 horsepower. The base model, known as the Pure, has 480 horsepower and a range of 406 miles. With a focus on performance, technology, and sustainability, Lucid Motors is poised to challenge the likes of Tesla and other established EV makers.
